Terms of service
The agreement between you and us
What you get when you use ToRecall, what you pay, what you may store, and what happens when either of us wants to end it.
Last changed

In short
Who you deal with
Injosoft AB, a Swedish company, runs ToRecall. Paddle sells Premium on our behalf.
What it costs
Basic is free. Premium is 399 SEK a year, VAT included, and renews each year until you cancel.
Your records
What you record is yours. We use it only to run ToRecall for you, and you can export it on any plan.
When Premium ends
You keep everything you recorded, and you can still read and export it. You lose the Premium features, not your history.
Unused accounts
A free account nobody uses for two years is deleted. We email you four times before that happens, the first time after 18 months.
Changes
We tell you by email 30 days before a change that is to your disadvantage, and you can leave with a refund for time you have paid for and not used.
Your rights
Nothing here takes away your rights under consumer law, in Sweden or where you live.
1. About these terms
ToRecall is run by Injosoft AB (“we”). These terms apply when you create an account, and they apply to everyone who uses ToRecall, on any plan.
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which is a separate document. When you buy Premium, the purchase itself is also governed by Paddle’s buyer terms (section 4).
You can agree to these terms in English or Swedish; the two versions say the same thing. If they ever appear to differ, the version more favourable to you applies.
Save or print this page if you want a copy. We keep every earlier version and will send you the one you agreed to if you ask.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to have an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you buy Premium.
- An account belongs to one person. Share objects with other people rather than sharing your sign-in.
- Keep your password to yourself. If you think someone else has used your account, change it and write to us.
- Use an email address you read. It is how we reach you about your account, renewals and changes to these terms.
Basic is free for as long as you use it. An account nobody has used for two years is deleted, with everything in it, because keeping and backing up records nobody reads costs money and holds personal data for no purpose. Using it means signing in, or opening ToRecall while signed in, on any device.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| 18 months without use | We email you a reminder |
| 21 months | A second reminder |
| One month before deletion | A third reminder, with the date |
| One week before deletion | A last reminder |
| 24 months | The account and everything in it is deleted |
Using ToRecall at any point starts the count again from zero, and you can export everything until the last day. The rule does not apply while you have Premium: the two years start when Premium ends.
3. Basic and Premium
| Included | Basic | Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | 399 SEK a year, VAT included |
| Objects | 3 | No limit |
| Events | 100 | No limit |
| Search | Basic | Advanced |
| Photos and files | One photo per event | 5 GB of photos and files |
| Documents and PDFs | No | Yes |
| Reminders | No | Yes |
| Sharing objects with others | No | Yes |
| Your own templates | No | Yes |
| Export of everything you recorded | Yes | Yes |
The pricing page always shows the current plans. Basic stays free. If we ever change what it includes, section 12 applies.
The limits exist because storing and backing up your history costs money for as long as you keep it. Storage is for your records, not a photo library.
4. Paying for Premium
Premium is sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, collects the VAT, issues the receipt and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds, under its buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms) and refund policy (paddle.com/legal/refund-policy). We provide the service itself, under these terms. Where this page gives you more than Paddle’s terms do, as sections 5, 6, 9, 12 and 13 may, you get what this page says, and any refund is paid through Paddle.
- You pay a year in advance. The price shown at checkout is what you pay, VAT included.
- Premium renews automatically each year. At least a month before the last day you can cancel, we email you a reminder with the date and the price. If the reminder does not reach you, you can end Premium at once and pay only for the time you have had it.
- If the price changes, you are told at least 30 days before your renewal. The new price applies from that renewal, not before, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
5. Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a Premium purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Use the “Withdraw from contract here” button on the Premium page in Settings, write to Paddle or to us, or use the Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard form (konsumentverket.se/angerblankett). We confirm by email that we have received it, and the money is back with you within 14 days.
Premium starts as soon as you have paid. If you withdraw within the 14 days, you still get the whole amount back, with nothing taken off for the days you had Premium.
The right applies to your first purchase. An automatic renewal does not start a new 14 days, but you can cancel before any renewal (section 6).
6. Cancelling Premium
You can cancel from the Premium page in Settings at any time. Premium then lasts until the last day of the period you have paid for, and does not renew. We do not refund the rest of a period you cancel partway through, unless the reason is a fault on our side or a change under section 12.
When Premium ends:
- everything you recorded stays in your account, and you can still read and export it, documents included
- you can still change and delete what is there, but not add objects, events or files beyond the Basic limits until you are within them or renew
- reminders stop, and the people you shared objects with lose access until you renew
Keeping your history is part of the agreement, with one exception: an account nobody uses for two years is deleted, as section 2 describes.
7. Your records
What you record in ToRecall is yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You give us permission to store, copy, process and show it only as far as running ToRecall for you requires: keeping backups, making thumbnails, indexing it for search, and showing it to the people you share it with. That permission ends when you delete something, apart from backup copies, which expire as the privacy policy describes. We do not sell what you record, we do not use it for marketing, and we do not let anyone train AI models on it.
ToRecall can turn a line you type into a suggested event: the object, the kind of event, the date and the cost. A suggestion is only a proposal. You check it and save it, or change it first; nothing is recorded without you, and you answer for what you save. Suggestions are part of both plans. You can switch them off in Settings and type every event in yourself.
You are responsible for what you store. Only upload photos and documents you have the right to keep, and take care with information about other people (the privacy policy says more).
With Premium you can share an object with other ToRecall users. A share covers the object and everything in it, now and later. Someone you let edit can add and change its events, photos and documents; someone you let view can only read it. Nobody you share with can create, move, delete or share your objects. What they add goes into your account and counts against your storage, and these terms apply to them as to you. You can end a share at any time. Events you add to an object someone else has shared with you belong to that object’s history and stay there if you leave or close your account.
You can close your account at any time from Settings, on any plan; closing it ends this agreement. Export everything first if you want a copy. If you close it yourself, or we close it under section 9, you can also ask for an export in the 30 days after, and we send it free of charge in a common, machine-readable format. After those 30 days the account is deleted. An unused account deleted under section 2 is gone on the day, after the reminders.
ToRecall itself, including its software, design, built-in templates and name, is ours or our licensors’. You may use it for your own records, on the plan you have, and not copy or resell it. A template you make yourself is yours.
8. What you may not store or do
ToRecall is for keeping your own history. Do not use it to:
- store or share anything illegal, such as material that sexually exploits children, or content that infringes someone else’s rights
- harass or threaten another person, or publish private details about them, including through an object you share
- upload malware, or try to reach accounts, data or systems that are not yours
- overload the service, or collect data from it by automated means
- resell ToRecall or run it as a service for others
If you come across something in ToRecall you believe is illegal, for example in an object someone has shared with you, report it to support@torecall.com. Say where it is and why you think it is illegal, give your name and email address (not needed for material that sexually exploits children), and confirm that you believe the report is accurate. A person, not an automated system, looks at every report without undue delay. We tell both you and the account holder what we decided and why, and either of you can ask us to review that decision.
9. When we may restrict or close an account
Only for the reasons below, and in proportion to what happened. We always tell you what we have done and why, unless the law forbids it.
| Situation | What we do | Your records |
|---|---|---|
| Illegal content, or an attack on the service or on other users | Remove the content straight away. Suspend the account only in serious cases, such as material that sexually exploits children, or an attack, and then close it without the notice below if the breach is confirmed | You can still export, and get a refund under this section, unless the law prevents it |
| Another breach of section 8 | Warn you first, and restrict the account if it continues | Untouched while we sort it out |
| A serious or repeated breach after a warning | Close the account, with at least 30 days’ notice | Export available until it closes, and for 30 days after |
If we close your account, you get a refund, through Paddle, for Premium time you have paid for and not used.
10. Availability and your own copy
We aim to keep ToRecall running around the clock, and we back it up every day. Maintenance that takes it offline is announced in advance where we can. What we cannot do is promise it will never be down, or that nothing can ever be lost.
Export your history now and then, and keep a copy yourself.
11. Our responsibility
We answer for ToRecall working as these terms and our site describe. If it does not, you have the remedies Swedish consumer law gives you, against us or against Paddle as seller: that we put it right, a price reduction, ending the agreement, or compensation for loss we have caused.
We are not responsible for loss caused by something outside our control, such as a major internet outage, which we could not reasonably have foreseen when you signed up and whose effects we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.
12. Changes to ToRecall and to these terms
ToRecall will change as we build it. We may change features or these terms for a valid reason: new law, security, keeping the service running, or developing it further. A change will not cost you anything extra during a period you have already paid for.
If a change affects you negatively, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and say what is changing and why. If you do not accept it, you can end the agreement within 30 days of our email or of the change, whichever is later, and you get a refund, through Paddle, for Premium time you have paid for and not used.
Changes that only add something, or fix wording without changing its meaning, take effect when they are published. The date at the top shows the last change.
This is the first version.
13. If ToRecall closes
If we ever decide to close ToRecall, we tell you by email at least three months in advance. Export stays available until the last day, and you get a refund, through Paddle, for Premium time you have paid for beyond it.
14. Law, disputes and contact
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection its consumer law gives you, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
If something goes wrong, write to us first; most things can be put right that way. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at arn.se, and we follow its recommendations. Consumers elsewhere in the EU can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their own country.
